Carrots is an 84.5 Wolfsburg Edition Scirocco.  From the factory the car came with a JH code engine (90BHP,) and close ratio 4K transmission.  It has the large fuel tank and space saver spare.  The Wolfsburg package included Wolfsburg fender badges, pinstriped cloth sport seats and door cards, body-coloured bumpers and mirrors, 13" alloy wheels, rear window wiper, MFA computer and  power heated mirrors.  In addition to these features the car came from the factory equipped with power windows, tilt and slide metal roof, 60/40 split rear seats and central locking.   

Upgrades to the cars appearance and performance include:

Euro-spec Scirocco2 headlamps with relayed wring   

Hella fog lamps under front bumper

Neuspeed softsport springs with Boge ProGas inserts.

14" VW 'Avus' alloy rims (JX14H2 ET38)

VW Motorsports Momo steering wheel with Wolfsburg centre-cap

UK-spec 3 point rear seat belts

3 gauge panel installed in place of ashtray (with factory VW VDO gauges: volt, oil pressure in bar, oil temp in degrees C)

3 gauge panel mounted under radio (VDO boost 0-15 psi, EGT and intake temp coming spring 2003)
